Two killed, ten injured in a clash in Bihar
Gopalganj, Aug 5 (UNI) Two people were killed and ten, including five policemen, injured in a group clash at Manpur village under Town police station in the district late last night.
Deputy Police Superintendent Veena Kumari said here today that Jagannath Dubey and his three sons had an altercation with a teacher on some trivial issues following which a clash ensued in which two people were killed on the spot.
Five people were also injured in the clash.
Five policemen, including an Assistant Officer-in-charge, and an Assistant Sub-Inspector(ASI), sustained injuries when the villagers attacked them, alleging that they had arrived late, Ms Kumari added.
All the injured were admitted to local hospital, while a seriously injured person had been sent to Gorakhpur Medical college Hospital.
