Three boys from Mumbai drowned in Lonawala lake

Pune, Aug 5 (UNI) Three teenagers from Mumbai today drowned at Ghubad Talao in Lonawala.

The police have identified the deceased as Prasad Rao, Ankit Rao and Siddarth Parab.

Pune rural police sources said six college students, including two girls, had gone on excursion this afternoon, when the mishap occurred. They all were residents of Bhandup, an eastern suburb, and were studying in K J Somaiya College at Vidyavihar in North East Mumbai.

The three others have, however, been rescued, sources added.
