Teams from Delhi reach Manmand to interrogate Arif
Nasik, Aug 5 (UNI) Three teams of Intelligence Bureau from New Delhi have reached Manmand to interrogate Arif Mohd Habib Tarwani -- arrested on August 2, along with a Pakistani Visa and some secret douments.
District Police Suprintendent Raj Vardhan told reporters at a press conference here last evening.
34-year-old Arif was arrested from Goa Express at Manmand Railway Station, along with secret documents, photos, a Pakistani Visa and two mobile sets, he said.
Arif hails from Shrirampur in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Mr Vardhan said.
Local police were holding enquiry against some of his relatives, he said, and added no arrest had been made so far in this connection.
Arif will remain in police custody till August 15, 2006.
Mr Vardhan, however, said police were working on the disclosures made by Arif, which should not be revealed at the moment.
