Sandalwood tree stolen from city garden

Surat, Aug 5 (UNI) A sandalwood tree was illegally felled and stolen from a city garden.

The incident came to light today. Police said a sandalwood tree, worth around Rs 15,000, was felled and stolen from the Gandhi Baug here.

Police said the tree was probably felled and stolen late last evening.
