Remand prisoner dies of cancer
Visakhapatnam, Aug 5 (UNI) A remand prisoner who was undergoing treatment for cancer, died at the King George Hospital here today.
Police said, K Mangolu alias Angru (58) was arrested in connection with a murder case and was remanded to the Central Prison on March 16.
He was suffering from stomach cancer and was referred to hospital on and off, police said.
He was admitted to the hospital, on the advice of prison doctors, where he succumbed to the fatal disease.
