Pakistani ziyarins felicitated at Ajmer

Ajmer, Aug 5 (UNI) A team of 485 Pakistan ziyarins were felicitated today at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.

Anjuman, the organisation of khadims of the dargah, organised the event in the historic mehfil khana located on the dargah premises.

Anjuman's Sadr Gulam Kibriya and secretary Sarwar Chisti conducted the dastarbandi (tying of turban) of each of Pakistani ziyarin and presented them tavrukh.

The Pakistani ziyarins and khadims prayed for friendly relations and peace between both the countries.

The Pakistani team had reached Ajmer on July 30 and laid a chadaar on behalf of the Pakistani government on the mazaar of Khwaja Saheb on July 31.

A group of Pakistani ziyarins would leave for their country today evening after participating in the Urs festivities.
