One person injured in election related violence
Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, Aug 05: In an election related violence, one person was injured by his opponents near Peddamudiem village of Jammalamadugu Mandal here today.
According to police sources, Veera Reddy, relative of former Minister Rama Subba Reddy, was attacked by his opponents with a sickel. Mr Reddy, received injuries on his head and limbs and was intially admitted to Kadapa hospital and shifted to Kurnool as his condition was reported serious.
Police said the attack was the result of old enmity in the faction ridden district.
