Maharashtra State Minorities Commission Chairperson nominated

Mumbai, Aug 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna has nominated Mr Mohammad Naseem Raziuddin Siddiqui as the Chairperson and Dr Abraham Mathai as the Vice-Chairperson of the Maharashtra State Minorities Commission for a period of five years from the date they assume office, a General Administration notification release said.

Maharashtra government has constituted ''Maharashtra State Minorities Commission'' to exercise powers conferred on, and to perform the functions assigned to the Commission under the Minorities Commission Act 2004.
