Life term for Samajwadi Party MLA in Bihar

Madhubani, Aug 5 (UNI) A Fast Track court today sentenced to life in prison Bihar Samajwadi Party president Deonath Yadav, MLA, and 27 others after they were found guilty of committing a murder.

Fast Track court judge S K Sah yesterday found the MLA and his accomplices guilty of killing Congress leader Surendra Prasad Yadav in 1992 and reserved pronouncement of punishment till today.

All the convicts were sent to jail yesterday following the declaration of the judge holding them guilty.
