HP Education Board considering legal action against BJP leader
Dharamshala, Aug 5 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBSE) is considering legal action against former health minister J P Nada for allegedly leveling charges of corruption against the Board authorities, a board spokesman said today.
Reacting to the allegations by Mr Nada, she said the allegations were ''baseless, concocted and politically motivated'' and an attempt to prevent qualitative improvement in the Board.
She said the book publication work of the Board was being carried out in a transparent way by the senior officials and was almost in the manner when his father N L Nadda was the Chairman of the Board, which had shown remarkable improvement since then.
Daring the former health minister to provide proof in support of his allegations, she said this would help the board in taking action against the people involved in any irregularities.
She said otherwise the Board would only presume that Mr Nadda was leveling allegation for his personal reasons, adding that it was considering legal action against him for baseless allegations.
