BHEL to set up environment-friendly boilers in UP, Gujarat
Tiruchirapalli, Aug 5 (UNI) The public sector, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirapalli has secured two contracts for supply of Bubbling Fluidised Bed Boilers (BFBC) and a Circulating Fluidised Bed Boiler (CFBB) for Captive Power Plant (CPP) application, From M/S Gujarat, Ambuja Cements Limited.
A BHEL release here today said the BFBC order, from M/S Jayaprakash Associates Limited, was for the supply of pressure parts for two BFBC boilers of capacities 150 TPH and 125 TPH. The 150 TPH BFBC was to be set up at Chunar in 18 months and the 125 TPH boiler, at Dalla in 16 months, in Uttar Pradesh. The order was valued at Rs 53 crore.
The CFBC order, from M/S Gujarat Ambuja Cements Limited (GACL), is for the supply of a A 135 TPH CFBC boiler, for their CCP at Ambujanagar in Junagadh district of Gujarat. The value of this repeat order from GACL is Rs 27.5 crore. BHEL, Tiruchirapalli is currently executing a contract for supply of two 135 TPH CFBC boilers to GACL, the release added.
