Badal demands Dullo's resignation following Shimla incident

Jalandhar, Aug 5 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) president Parkash Singh Badal today demanded the resignation of Punjab Congress president Shamsher Singh Dullo on moral grounds following the arrest of the latter's son in a eve teasing case in Himachal Pradesh.

Talking to reporters here, Mr Badal said since Mr Dullo could not manage his own house, could not he lead the ruling party and the people of the state.

''Therefore, he should step down as Congress state chief on moral grounds,'' the former chief minister said.

Mr Dullo's son Manroop Singh was arrested along with four others in the alleged eve teasing and firing incident near St Bede's College in Shimla yesterday.
