SBI to install 681 ATMs at various railway stations

Mumbai, August 4 (UNI) As per an Memorandum of Understanding reached between State Bank of India (SBI) and Indian Railways, the bank would install ATMs at 681 railway stations in different locations of the country. Out of them, nearly 300 ATMs will be installed at smaller stations in interior areas, a bank release said today.

The bank also plans to provide facilities of railway ticket booking in association with IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation). The idea is to provide facilities of railway ticket booking through internet kiosks that will be set up at the ATM sites/kiosks, the release added.
