Rs 400 crore RSMML joint venture with RCF for DAP prodcution
Jaipur, Aug 4 (UNI) The Rajasthan State Mines&Minerals Ltd (RSMML)in a joint venture with the Rashtriya Chemicals&Fertilizers(RCF) will set up a 2.55 lakh ton per year capacity Dye Amonium Phosphate (DAP) plant at Kapasan in Chittorgarh district.
This was disclosed by the Mines Minister Laxmi Narayan Dave here today. The minister said the total cost of the project was estimated at about Rs 400 crore and would be completed in the next twenty four months.
The minister said the the RSMML and RCF had agreed on a 40:60 joint venture under which the RSMML would made available the major raw meterials of rock phosphate and sulphuricate acid for the prodcution of DAP.
He said it was the first of its kind in north India and would give a boost to the agriculture sector in the region.
