Prime accused in Hyderabad student murder case arrested
New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) The prime suspect in the murder of the two hotel management students that took place in Hyderabad on July 31, was arrested here this evening.
Naveen Kumar(19), a first year student of hotel management, was arrested in a joint operation by the crime branch of Delhi Police and Hyderabad Police from the New Delhi railway station this evening, said a senior police official of the crime branch.
Naveen, allegedly stabbed Sanoy Cherian of Mayur Vihar in Delhi, and Sanjay Giri of Meerut, his seniors in the institute as when they advised him not to drink liquor on the hostel premises.
Naveen, a resident of Mahendra Garh had fled after committing the crime and Hyderabad Police had launched a search for him since then.
