President to honour five Goan fredom fighters on Aug 9

Panaji, Aug 4 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam will honour five of Goa's veteran fredom fighters during the ''At Home'' function at Rashtrapathi Bhawan in New Delhi on August 9.

The fredom fighters are: Pandurang Kukaliyenkar, Vasant Mplio, Ranaldo Coutinho, Bonifacio Dias and Prabhakar S.Yende.

The president himself is hosting the event, according to an official release here today.
