Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 4 (UNI) Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann and other Panthic groups opposed to Shiromani Akali Dal president Parkash Singh Badal today announced to launch another Gurdwara Reform Movement, after a span of almost one century.

Mr Mann, after completing 'tankha' with the bhog ceremony after the Akhand Patha, which started on Wednesday on his behalf at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, while launching 'Gurdwara Reform Movement-II'', announced a series of programmes to checkmate Mr Badal on the religious domain. The Akal Takht Jathedar had announced the ''tankha'' on July 18 against Mr Mann for the July 2 clash with Mr Badal that took place in Golden Temple complex, Amritsar.

Various announcements were made at the convention, which was also held to mark the 24th anniversary of Dharam Yudh Morcha.

While addressing the gathering, the SAD (A) president announced the constitution of a Panthic Committee to streamline the working of the movement. He said, the conglomerate of the Panthic bodies decided to assemble at Akal Takht on a daily basis to impress upon Akal Takht Jathedar to pursue all pending cases of ''maryada'' violation against Badal, 'his coterie' and Rashtriya Singh Sangat.

He said the ''Jatha'' (delegation) of 51 members would go to Akal Takht starting from August 16 and after reciting Gurbani for two hours they would handover a memo to Jathedar Vedanti reminding him of his responsibility in bringing the violators of maryada and traditions to book. On the first day, the Panthic Committee will place a 'Black Report Card' of all the acts of omission and commission of Badal and his supporters.

Former SGPC Chief Secretary and Sikh Mission International Chairman Manjit Singh Calcutta said a shadow SGPC comprising the present SGPC members of all Panthic groups and other leaders would be made public shortly.
