Natwar Singh to disclose secrets at ''an appropriate time''
New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) Daring the Congress, former Foreign Minister Natwar Singh today said if pushed to the wall, he would spill the beans at an appropriate time.
Reacting to media queries outside Parliament, Mr Singh said he had lots to disclose and if pushed to the wall, he would spill the beans ''at a proper time'' and when the occasion arose.
On the R S Pathak report which went into the findings of Volcker Committee, he said, ''I am totally vindicated. I am totally innocent. Justice Pathak has given me and my son a clean chit.'' He added that he would make a substantive statement after going through the report.
Stressing that he had ''strong nerves'' and was ''totally relaxed'', Mr Singh said, ''I am still a Congress sepoy and would react on the issue in due course.'' On being asked if he was thinking about leaving the party, he said, ''We'll cross the bridge when it comes.'' When asked to comment on Samajwadi Party's statement that the party's doors were open for him, the bureaucrat-turned-politician said doors of other parties were also open for him.
Refusing to say anything on joining the SP or any other party, in the light of ''offers open to him'', he said ''Don't speculate. You are free to draw your own conclusions.'' UNI AN VA DS1607
