Markets closed in Darbhanga in protest against murder

Darbhanga, Aug 4 (UNI)Market areas wore a deserted look today as the businessmen kept their establishments closed in protest against the murder of their colleague at Bangalitola locality here yesterday.

Irate businessmen also put up a blockade at main road of the town disrupting traffic movement for several hours.

The blockade was later restored after intervention of police.

District Police Superintendent O N Bhaskar said six people had been taken into custody for interrogation in connection with the killing of Munna Balodia.

Mr Balodia was killed by armed criminals at Bangalitola when he was returning to his residence.
