Man rapes mother-in-law, absconding

Akola, Aug 4 (UNI) A man allegedly raped his mother-in-law at Deulgaon in Patur taluka of the district and is absconding, police said.

Police said, the victim, a widow amd resident of Barafgaon in Khamgaon in bordering Buldhana district came to her son-in-law's house in Deulgaon. On August one, her son-in-law Narayan Solanke allegdly raped her. Before committing the crime, Narayan drove his mother out of the house whereas his wife and the victim's daughter had gone out for field work. The accused ran away after committing the crime.

The son-in-law was booked under soction 376, 506 of IPC on the basis of the complaint filed by the mother-in-law, the police said and added that search is being made to trace the culprit.
