Lok Sabha again adjourned till 1530 hours on Pathak report leak

New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the second time today, till 1530 hours, on the leak of the Justice Pathak Committee report on the oil-for-food scam to the media.

As soon as the House re-assembled at 1500 hours, BJP's Vijay Kumar Malhotra stood up to make a point of order on the leak of the Report to the media before even it was placed in Parliament, even when it was in session.

Mr Devendra Prasad Yadav, who was in the Chair, told Mr Malhotra to allow some urget business to be conducted. Mr Malhotra obeyed the Chair and took his seat.

After this, the Chair asked some Ministers and members to lay papers listed against their name on the table of the house, and asked the Lok Sabha Secretary General to make an announcement about the Bills that have been passed by the Uper House.

He then asked called the names of some members to speak.

However, Mr Malhotra again got up and started raising a point of order. Members of the BJP and and other NDA partners soon trooped to the well of the House shouting slogans, that the report proved beyond doubt that the Congress was corrupt.

This provoked treasury benches to respond in kind, creating a din in the house.

Little could be heard in the din, forcing the Speaker to adjourn the House till 1530 hours.
