India's biggest travel fair gets off in Pearl City
Hyderabad, Aug 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Chairman T K Diwan today inaugurated a three-day Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) on the occasion of its golden jubilee.
Mr Diwan said the fair was expected to attract 1,000 travel trade and 10,000 general visitors with significant international participation from countries like Egypt, Poland, Malaysia, Mauritius and Nepal.
The TTF would provide an opportunity to interact with national and state tourism organisations, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels and resorts.
He said the boom in travel sector in the country was evident from the tremendous enthusiasm shown by participants from India as well as abroad to make an aggressive pitch for the Indian tourists.
