IDBI workers on one say strike for wage agreement implementation

Mumbai, Aug 04 (UNI) The Industrial Development Bank of India employees today observed a one-day nation-wide strike, said a press release here.

The demand is for implementation of the Wage Agreement signed on March 17 this year by the Reserve Bank of India.

While the strike was peaceful and successful, the employees have announced a march to the Parliament and a 'dharna' on August 10 for the wage settlement at par and linkage with RBI Agreement.

Mr Vishwas Utagi, Joint Secretary of MSBEF and Mr Prakash Gangal, Assistant Secretary of the All India SBI Staff Federation and also the Deputy General Secretary, SBI Mumbai, greeted the strikers, the release said.
