Gurudwara employees threaten stir
New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) Gurudwara Employees in Delhi say they will be forced to launch an agitation if their demands for better pay and benefits was not met.
Addressing a press conference, the Delhi Gurudwara Employees Welfare Association President Harjinder Singh said DSGMC chief Harvinder Singh Sarna and General Secretary Rajinder Singh Techno had turned down their demands.
''We will be left with no option but to approach the people's court. Our meagre salary does not allow us to live with dignity and honour and manage day to day affairs,'' he said.
Unless the issue was resolved at the earliest, the employees would be forced to launch an agitation against the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, he added.
