FMC Billiards and Snooker tournament from 5th

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (UNI) Fateh Maidan Club is conducting 29th Open FMC Billiards and Snooker tournament commencing from 5th August, 2006.

According to the Chairman, Organising Committee T Shesh Narayan, this tournament is going to be one of the best organised tournament.

Managing Committee is providing free boarding and lodging facility for outstation players.

The tournament secretary Subodh Modi announced that record number of 147 entries have been received, which is a new record. 106 entries in Snookers and 41 entries in Billiards have been received.

The tournament is keenly contested by top players from Railways, Andhra Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association and Members from Local twin city clubs and pool parlors.

Rolling trophy along with prize money will be given for winners, runners, semifinalists, quarter finalists and for highest break both in Billiards as well as Snooker.

The seedings are as follows: Billiards: 1. Simhachalam, 2. Durga Prasad, 3.K Venkatesham, 4. P G Benny (all from Railways).

Snooker: 1. John Bosco, 2. Hemanth Kumar, 3. S Shankar, 4.
