Central and state govt insensitive to farmers suicide

Mumbai, Aug 4 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today alleged that the farmers of Vidarbha were betrayed by both central and state government as the farmers did not get any money from the prime minister's package of Rs 3750 crore even one month after its announcement.

In a press note issued here today, Mr Gadkari said the packages announced for the farmers always remained on paper and never reached to the farmers.

He criticised the chief minister for his directives to utilise money from emergency fund for the same and alleged that still the government has not recognised the seriousness of the problem.
