Body of missing boy found in Thrissur

Thrissur, Aug 4 (UNI) The body of a third year student of the Maharaja Technological Institute was found in a house under construction at Cheroor near Gandhinagar here today.

The deceased was identified as Ginto (19) from Kottayam, who had been reported missing since July 23.

The Thrissur town police arrested Sreegith (21), a friend of Ginto, in connection with the incident.

Police said Sreegith had allegedly confessed that he had taken the help of four goondas to kill Ginto. However, the police did not say anything about the motive for the crime.

The calls made by Sreegith to the mobile phone of the deceased had helped the investigators to nab him, police added.
