Arcelor, Mittal name CEO of merged group

RUSSELS, Aug 4 (Reuters) Steelmakers Arcelor and Mittal Steel said on Friday Roland Junck, Arcelor's executive vice president, would be chief executive of the merged group.

The boards of Mittal Steel and Arcelor approved on Friday a combined management board of six members, three from each group.

Aditya Mittal, son of Mittal's Chairman and Chief Executive Lakshmi, has been named Chief Financial Officer.

The four other members of the management board are Arcelor's Deputy Chief Executive Michel Wurth, Arcelor Chief Financial Officer Gonzalo Urquijo, Mittal's Chief Operating Officer Malay Mukherjee and Mittal Steel South Africa Chief Executive Davinder Chugh.

The new Management Board will meet for the first time on Aug. 8.
