An intrusion of a different kind in J

Srinagar, Aug 4 (UNI) It was an intrusion of a different kind in Jammu and Kashmir today from across the border.

Instead of heavily armed men, cows and oxen entered Indian territory in Kaksar sector of Ladakh region.

A flag meeting is being arranged between Indian and Pakistani troops near the LoC and the animals will be handed over to Pakistan army, official sources said.

After ensuring that nothing is tied to them, security forces have caught all the animals.

This is the first time that such an intrusion took place in Kaksar sector which hit the headlines in 1999 when almost all the heights were occupied by Pakistani intruders in Kaksar, Drass and Kargil sectors. It took more than three months for Indian troops to push back the intruders.
