Three Kanwariyas killed,10 injured in road accident

Hajipur, Aug 3 (UNI) Three Pilgrims (Kanwariyas) were killed and ten injured when a jeep carrying them collided head-on with a speeding bus on Mahatma Gandhi setu under Gangabridge police station area of Vaishali district today.

Police said the vehicle was on way to Siwan from Deoghar. The pilgrims were returning after offering prayers at Deoghar. The victims were residents of Khudra and Ganbhir villages under Nautan police station of Siwan district.

The seriously injured six people had been sent to Patna Medical College Hospital while others were admitted at Hajipur government hospital.
