Slain NRI businessman Pankaj Trivedi's friends end fast
Ahmedabad, Aug 3 (UNI) Slain NRI businessman Pankaj Trivedi's three friends today ended their fast unto death, while reiterating that they would continue with their agitation demanding the arrest of Jayshree Talwalkar aka didi, head of Swadhya Parivar, a socio-spiritual organisation.
Pankaj Tirvedi's three friends - Mr Bhupendra Patel, Bhavangiri Gosai and Dipesh Patel, ended their three-day fast unto death on the assurance by spiritual leaders including Swami Sachidanand, that they would organise a rally to protest against ''police inaction and failure'' in arresting didi, alleged main conspirator behind Trivedi's murder, Bhupendra Patel told UNI.
Mr Patel alleged that the attack on Swami Sachidanand's ashram on July 17 was also handiwork of didi's followers after Sachidanand spoke against activities of the Swadhaya Parivar. The police have arrested five people in ashram attack case so far.
Mr Trivedi was murdered near Ellisbridge Gymkhana on June 15 reportedly over an internal dispute among Swadhyaya Parivar members.
Police have arrested more than 10 people in the case, including state leader of Swadhaya Parivar, Bharat Bhatt.
