Precious metals spurt on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Aug 3: Prices of precious metals zoomed up on bullish global advice in the opening session today, according to traders at the bullion market.

Following were today's opening rates : Silver (per kg) .999 fineness grade : Rs 19,030, Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint: : Rs 9,855, Gold 99.9 purity variety : Rs 9,900.
