Pantaloon to invest Rs 100 cr for showrooms

Indore, Aug 3: Pantaloon Retail India will invest Rs 100 crore to open 100 depot showrooms across various cities in the country, including Siliguri, Visakhapatanam, Mangalore, Kanpur and Agra.

The company will also open 88 retail showrooms of books, music and gift articles in the next 18 months, Pantaloon Depot Business Head Preeti Vyas said.

''After implementing the expansion plan the number of depot showrooms will be 100,'' Ms Vyas said, while inaugurating the tenth showroom at Treasure Island shopping mall here yesterday.
