NC protest against Israel and other locals issues in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 3 (UNI) The main opposition party in the Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference (NC) activists, including women, today took to streets in protest against Israeli attacks on Lebanon and other local issues.
Raising slogans against United States and Israel, the NC activists marched through different streets from party headquarters at Zero bridge to Radio Kashmir office.
They were demanding immediate stop of Israeli bombardment on Lebanon in which civilians, including women and children were being killed.
The NC activists led by Shamima Firdous, were also protesting against alleged increase in the Human Rights violations in the State.
They also raised slogans against the suspension of NC MLA Sharief Uddin Shariq from the Legislative Assembly.
Later, they dispersed peacefully.
