Jammu lawyers indefinite strike continue on 37th day

Jammu, Aug 03 (UNI) The ongoing indefinite strike of lawyers, demanding transfer of sex scandal case here, continued for the consecutive 37th day today.

The judicial work in local bench of Jammu and Kashmir high court and other lower courts here have remained paralysed today due to strike. Lawyers of Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) and the other five districts of Jammu divisions, remained present in the court but did not participate in the court proceedings.

The lawyers started an indefinite strike on June 28 against denial of right of defence and threat issued to lawyers in Srinagar while representing their clients.
