Hubli Bar Association protests against police Inspector

Hubli, Aug 3 (UNI) Members of the Hubli Bar Association today boycotted court proceedings and resorted to a road blockade for some time in front of the court complex here in protest against a police Inspector allegedly threatening a lawyer over phone recently.

Shouting slogans against the police, they demanded that the Inspector be suspended, pending inquiry.

Commissioner of Police Narayan Nadamani had ordered an inquiry against the Inspector and transferred him.
