Hindustan Paper pays maiden dividend

Kolkata, Aug 03 (UNI) Hindustan Paper Corporation Ltd today paid the maiden dividend of Rs 15.20 crore to the Centre for the financial year 2005-06.

Company's chairman and managing director Raji Philip presented the dividend cheque to Union Heavy Industries Minister Santosh Mohan Dev, a company statement said.

The company is aiming Rs 1177 crore in FY 2006-07 and a profit before tax of Rs 150 crore based on a production mandate of 333000 tonnes of printing, 218000 tonnes of writing paper and 115000 tonnes of newsprint.
