Congress MLA surrenders in court, gets bail
Warangal, Aug 3 (UNI) Congress MLA Konda Surekha today surredered in the distict First Additional Magistrate Court in connection with a case and later obtained bail.
A case was registered against, the Sayampeta MLA Surekha in Intezargunj police station in 2004, for obstructing the police from performing their duties.
At that time the MLA staged a dharna in front of Intezargunj police station along with a group of Congress activists, demanding release of one Nalgonda Ramesh, who was picked up by police.
In this connection, Surekha was issued summons by the Court.
Today Surekha surrendered in First Additional Magistrate Court.
Later, on production of surities of Rs 5000 each, she was granted bail.
