Commandant among four BSF jawans injured in militant attack
Jammu, Aug 3 (UNI) Four BSF jawans, including an assistant commandant were injured when an unidentified militant hurled a grenade at their vehicle at Dahram Huilly area in Ramban police district.
Ramban police said here this evening that a petrol party of Border Security Force (BSF) was going to its Dahram base camp last night when it was attacked by militants very close to the camp.
Assistant commandant Pankaj Kumar, sub inspector Shankar Pal, head constable Angesh Aid and sepoy Mohan Lal were injured in the attack. They were admitted to the nearby hospital.
The security forces cordoned off the area and search operations have started since last night which are still going on.
