Chaupane urges naming scholarship after Ramkrishna More

Mumbai, Aug 3 (UNI) Thane Municipal Corporation education board member Sanjay Chaupane has urged that the scholarship, offered to fourth standard students, be named after late Ramkrishna More.

Mr Chaupane, in a letter to Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, said Prof More, during his tenure as the State Education Minister, had made efforts to institute this scholarship which has brought good results.

It would, therefore, be apt to name the scholarsip after Prof More and bestow the scholarship upon the first three students in every district.
