CBI produces 11 CDs before court in stamp-paper scam
Pune, Aug 3 (UNI) The special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court here today received copies of eleven CDs in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp-paper scam after CBI submitted the same following a Bombay High Court order.
Copies of three CDs will be provided to 61 accused, including prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi, in the Yerawada Jail tomorrow.
The CBI had earlier failed to produce all the fourteen CDs in the court last week. The CBI had submitted eight CDs.
Following the incident, the High Court directed the CBI to produce all the CDs within a week.
