Banned drugs seized, doctor held

Sasaram, Aug 3 (UNI) Rohtas unit of Indian Medical Association (IMA) secretary Dr Om Prakash Singh was arrested today for selling banned drugs at Gourchhani locality under Town police station area here today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Suresh Chaudhary said the acting on a tip off, a team of local police raided the clinic of the doctor and seized the banned drugs.

Medicines meant for distribution through government hospitals were also recovered during the search operation, he added.
