'Around 80 Hizbollah dead in war with Israel'

Beirut, Aug 3: Around 80 Hizbollah guerrillas have been killed in the group's 23-day-old war against Israel, a Lebanese security source said today.

Israel has said it killed around 300 Hizbollah fighters and the group has so far admitted to around 45 deaths. ''They've lost around 80 fighters so far. Difficulties on the ground and battle conditions are factors delaying the full announcement but Hizbollah announces all its martyrs,'' the source said.
