Army arrests ULFA leader in Arunachal
Itanagar, Aug 03 (UNI) The Army have arrested one corporal of the 28th battalion of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) on July 28 from Tribal colony at Tezu in Arunachal's Lohit district.
Official sources said here today that Dipankar Gogoi alias Deepak Rudra was undergoing medical treatment for the past two and half months.
He was handed over to Tezu police the next day.
Police also arrested five people during the past three days.
The arrested had provided all sorts of support to the ULFA leader, sources said adding their association was confirmed during interrogation.
