AP Govt reviewing law and order situation

Hyderabad, Aug 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Home Minister K Jana Reddy today reviewed the law and order situation with Director General of Police Swaranjit Sen in the wake of the reports that Maoists may strike in Hyderabad.

The meeting was also attended by State Intelligence Chief Arvind Rao, Home Secretary Basith and other Senior Police Officials.

Mr Reddy discussed the law and order situation in the State, following the recent encounter that killed one of the Maoist Secretaries Madhav in Nallamala forest.

The security for Chief Minister, Ministers, MLAs and other VIPs had been reviewed. Discussions had also taken place for the security of IT firms and MNCs.
