All monuments in Delhi to be illuminated : Soni

New Delhi, Aug 3 (UNI) All the major heritage monuments in the capital city will be illuminated using energy efficient technology, the Lok Sabha was informed today.

The scheme will be implemented before the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Tourism and Culture Minister Ambika Soni said in a written reply.

She said the illumination was being done by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
