State Home Dept appoints six IAS officers as collectors

Gandhinagar, Aug 2 (UNI) Gujarat Home Department in a minor administrative reshuffle today appointed as many as six officers of Indian Administrative Services (IAS) as assistant collectors in different districts of the state.

These officers having completed their second level trainings at Lal Bahadur Shashtri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie have been posted at Dahod, Gandhinagar, Limbdi (Surendranagar Dist), Palanpur (Banaskantha), Vishnagar (Mehsana) and Amerli.

In another order, the Home Department also transferred another six junior scale officers. They are R V Gamit (Dahod), J R Parmar (Gandhinagar), S K Modi (Limbdi), K D Lakhani (Palanpur), A M Khatri (Vishnagar) and J K Thesia (Amreli). Their new posting orders will be issued by the revenue department later, official sources said here.
