Sensex trades 37 pts up in intra-noon trade
Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive Index (Sensex) was up 37 points in the intra-noon trade, as the investors' sentiments dwindled over hike in the global crude oil price and the investment grade rating assigned by the international credit ratings agency Fitch.
Currently, the Sensex is trading at 10,788,86 points.
Major indices on the BSE are up and trading in the green. Auto is up 1.28 per cent, capital goods up by 1.26 per cent and midcap up by 0.82 per cent.
Top gainers on the index are BHEL, NTPC, Tata Motors, Ranbaxy, L&T, Hindalco and Dr Reddy's Lab, all up between 1.19 to 3.40 per cent.
Among the major losers on the index are HDFC, HLL, ICICI, Maruti Udyog, Reliance Communications and HDFC Bank, all down between 0.48 to 1.01 per cent.
