PSTL files prospectus for issue of Rs 8,444 lakh equity shares
Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Pyramid Saimira Theatre (PSTL) has filed a prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for issue of equity shares worth Rs 8,444 lakh.
The issue, on cent per cent book-building method, is to part-finance the first phase expansion of the company's mega digital theatre chain project, which will take its total theatrical presence to 355 screens, a company release issued here today said.
The pre-issue share capital of the company is Rs 19.82 crores and the company has placed the first round of shares with various private investors, and has already collected a premium of Rs 10.08 crores.
The company has tie-ups with various parties for plant and machinery on pay-per-use basis and with reputed builders for constructing theatres, multiplexes and family entertainment centres at the company's choice of locations.
PSTL, having over 100 theatres in operation in the country, plans to create the world's largest vertically integrated theatre chain, the release said.
It is the only company present in all segments of the exhibition industry and will also act as exhibitor-cum-distributor, it added.
