Mulayam lays foundation stone of UP's first women sports complex

Etawah, UP, Aug 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today laid the foundation stone of state's first ever sports complex for women.

The Rs 16.64 crore complex would be developed in Saifai, the home town of Mr Yadav.

UP has two other sports complexes -- one in the state capital and the other in Gorakhpur. Both the complexes house men and women players.

The CM said an international level sports stadium would also come up shortly in Saifai to help youth sharpen their skills in various disciplines of sports.
